Odd-Even-Big-Small Sudoku by clover!

Tags: Puzzle-Series;GAS, Custom
Time to Solve: 3:13
Normal 8x8 sudoku rules apply: that's the same as normal sudoku rules, but using only the digits 1 through 8 in each row, column, and 2x4 box. Text adjacent to a row or column describes the first two digits in the grid in that direction. For instance, in this puzzle, "奇 odd" appears above column 1. So, the first two digits in column 1 must both be odd. If nothing is written adjacent to a row or column, you don't necessarily know anything about its first two digits.

Time to Solve: 57:36
Normal sudoku rules apply. In cages, digits must sum to the small total in the top left corner of the cage (ie the uppermost then leftmost cell). Digits cannot repeat inside cages. BUT the cage shapes themselves must be deduced! The cage can have any shape but the number of digits it contains must be equal to X where X is the digit in the cell containing the total. Cages may not overlap. Clues outside the grid show the sum of all the digits that are inside killer cages in that row or column. The inequality sign means that R3C4 is higher than R4C4.

All other cells (blue) are sea. Ships can only occupt sea cells. Ships cannot touch each other, even diagonally. Each ship acts like a cage with a sum of 15. Shipd are unambiguous and the negative constraint applies. In other words, any line of 2/3/4/5 sea cells which sum to 15 MUST be a ship. Circles indicate that all shaded cells in that row/column are orthogonally connected; squares indicate those shaded cells are not all orthogonally connected (though some may be). Normal sudoku rules apply. Along thermometers, digits must increase from the bulb end. In cages, digits must sum to the small clue in the top left corner of the cage. Digits cannot repeat within a cage. Digits along an arrow must sum to the digit in that arrow's circle/pill. The two digit pill total is read from top down. Digits in cells separated by X must sum to 10. Not all Xs are given.
